Ann-Marie - Module 7

My EDB Possible Opposite Action
Call or text Paul (husband) multiple times a day. Limit my calling/contacting him to twice a day, unless something really urgent comes up.
Call or text the daycare at least once a day (apparently, I’m the only mom who does this at the daycare). Not call.

Usual EDB Opposite action How hard it was not to revert back to usual EDB (0-10, where 10 is actually reverting back). What I learned
Think about all the things that I have to do and all the things that could go wrong, when I go to bed at night. Before going to bed, at least an hour before, spend 10 minutes dedicated to worrying and planning and write it all down and evaluate how likely they are to occur. 9 It was super hard, partly because it’s become such a habit for me. I noticed myself starting to worry when I went to sleep, again, it’s habit, but I reminded myself I had already had my worry time and tried to focus on what I was looking forward to tomorrow…it was semi effective.
Taking an arsenal of stuff with me wherever we go, in case I should need something. Only take the bare necessities, or what other moms consider to be reasonable. 5 It was nice to have less to carry around – less weight. Felt uncomfortable, since something could happen that would require stuff in my bag, but generally it doesn’t. Will likely need more practice to get more comfortable.
