Ann-Marie - Module 9

Making the hierarchy was pretty tough because it seemed like it could go on forever. I even consulted my husband on this to get some input from him, which was helpful (he was the one who reminded me of my friends constantly wanting to do mom’s get-away, of which he’s been totally supportive). He also was a big proponent of date night since we haven’t done that in ages, certainly not without me checking in rather obsessively with the babysitter. We’ll see how this all goes.

Situation Distress Level (0-100)
Going on a mom’s getaway (just overnight) with my friends and not checking in at home a million times 100+
Going out on date night with husband and leaving kids with a sitter and not checking in a million times 100
Letting Amanda, my 5-year-old, go on a playdate and not being there the whole time 99
Going to the park without the taking our “safety kit” 95
Delegate a bill payment to my husband and not check up on him a million times 90
Not calling/texting husband a million times/day 85
Going to the park and giving the kids some space 70
