The accepting part wasn’t hard, but following through was harder (hence my split score). I tried to approach this as an experiment to see how I’d feel when I wasn’t feeling particularly excited about going. In the end, I did have a good time while I was out; certainly more than if I was at home by myself with my depressing thoughts. |
