Steven - Module 7

My EDB Possible Opposite Action
Avoid elevators during times of higher traffic, when I could have a panic attack. Take them regardless of the time of day.
Flee the situation when I’m feeling panicky. Stay? Hopefully I won’t pass out.

Usual EDB Opposite action How hard it was not to revert back to usual EDB (0-10, where 10 is actually reverting back). What I learned
Flee the situation when I’m feeling panicky. Stay? Hopefully I won’t pass out. 9 I stayed on the subway when I started to feel panicky and focused on where we were. I started to count as a means of seeing how long it would take to get to each station. I realized though, once I got home, that I was using distraction, which we’re not supposed to be doing….man, this is hard stuff!
Avoid elevators during times of higher traffic when I could have a panic attack. Take them regardless of the time of day. 8 I did this one day after taking the subway and using distraction to cope. This time I tried to ride along with the anxiety. As I’ve been reading out, nothing bad happened – I didn’t pass out or freak out.
