Imagine you’re about to give a presentation. You notice that you’re a little anxious and shaky. Noticing this reaction, you start to think about the last time you gave a presentation when you stumbled a bit at the beginning and there was someone who left to take a call. You begin to think that this is going to happen again and as you think that, you notice that you’re feeling much more nervous, as well as frustrated that this is happening again. You’re starting to sweat.
