Summary and Homework

In this section, you were introduced to the idea of primary and secondary emotional reactions. You also learned about the value of being in the present moment and various ways of practicing it.

Your homework is to practice being mindful once a day. This can involve mindfully doing an activity for 5 minutes or just tuning into the present moment and recording what you notice. Using the Mindfulness Tracking Form, keep track of how effective you were staying in the present moment, as well as what you focused on.
