Everyone worries from time to time about money, the future, work, family, etc. If you or others who know you well would call you a worry-wort because you’re always worrying about something and you have a tough time tuning out those worries, then you might have something called generalized anxiety disorder or GAD. In addition to worrying more often than not and having a tough time not worrying, people with GAD will also commonly report experiencing the following physical symptoms:
- feeling on-edge or restless
- tiring easily
- difficulty concentrating
- irritability
- muscle tension
- difficulty falling or staying asleep
