Summary and Homework

In this module, you learned about the value or goal setting and some strategies for increasing the likelihood that you’ll achieve your goals in this process. You also learned that motivation isn’t static and that it can ebb and flow over time but that it doesn’t mean your goals are any less important or achievable. You were introduced to the idea that doing things differently is what leads to change. You learned more about common emotional disorders. Most importantly, you learned what to do if you have any concerns about your safety, either while following this protocol or in the future.

Your homework for this module:

  1. If you haven’t already, list at least 3 goals or things that you would like to be doing differently by the end of the program.
  2. Post your goals somewhere you’ll see often to maintain your focus
  3. Complete the pros/cons of changing/ not changing worksheet for the behaviours you’ve identified wanting to change.
